It took three tries but the Raiders finally scored with no time left in yeserday’s game against the Chiefs for the win. Early on, it did not look promising as RB Marshawn Lynch was ejected from the game for putting his hands on a referee and the Raiders were down by two possessions in the third quarter.
Alex Smith and the Chiefs were willfully marching down the field and had, at one point, scored on 5 of their first 6 drives. They did get lucky on one of their drives, as the deep ball sailed through the hands of Raiders’DB Keith Mcgill for what would’ve been a sure interception, and reached a waiting Albert Wilson for a 63 yard touchdown.
The Raiders defense buckled down in the 4th quarter and Derek Carr orchesrated an 11 play 85 yard drive that took 2 minutes and 38 seconds.
Amari Cooper is back baby!
What a game for the superstar to quiet down all the critics. Amari Cooper exploded for a deep touchdown on the first drive and didn’t stop there. The 3rd year wideout finished the night with 19 targets(!) 11 Receptions, 210 yards and 2 TDs. Welcome Back Amari
With the Raiders winning, they tightened the gap in the AFC West. It’ll be exciting to watch this division until the end.
