Oakland Raiders RB Marshawn Lynch was handed a one game suspension from the league. This is the result of what happened on Thursday night.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL media, Lynch will appeal his one game suspension. If the appeal is unsuccessful, Lynch will miss the next game vs the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park. That would suck for Oakland Raiders fans (yours truly) in the east coast wanting to see Lynch play against his old team.
The Raiders beat the Chiefs on Thursday night without the help of the suspended RB.
Some might say the team played better without him in the lineup.
If Lynch doesn’t suit up, the Raiders will use a running back by committee approach with Jalen Richard and Deandre Washington.
