Former second round kicker Roberto Aguayo is back in the NFL. The Carolina Panthers announced that they have signed the former Bucs and Bears kicker to their practice squad.
Graham Gano is battling a knee injury for the Panthers and is unsure if he’ll be able to go on Sunday against the Bears.
As a rookie, Aguayo made only 22 of 31 FG attempts and missed 2 extra points. After just 1 season, the Buccaneers had enough of the rookie and waived him. It’s entirely possible that Aguayo kicks against his former team this weekend.
We can’t all be Al Davis picking kickers successfully in the top rounds now can we ?
