The Cleveland Browns are playing the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday in London. Not everyone will be thrilled about playing there. Specifically, Browns WR Kenny Britt.
“I hated London, hated it,” Britt said, via ESPN. “I hated it with a passion. I hated everything about it, I hated the flight. I hated us being there so long. I hated the flight back. I hated the food. You can ask my wife the same thing, and she’ll give you the same answer.”
Britt is the second player to come forward in as many weeks denouncing London games. Rams RB Todd Gurley expressed the same sentiments a week ago.
With the NFL having reached peak popularity in the United States, it’s current mission is to make the game grow overseas. London is a big part of that plan, whether the players like it or not.
