Seahawks Cardinals Thursday Night Football Preview and Pick

We Kick off week 10 with the Seahakws visiting the Cardinals. This game would’ve been much more interesting had Carson Palmer not gotten injured, but such is life. The football gods give us Drew Stanton vs. Russell Wilson.

The last time these 2 teams played each other, the Cardinals beat the Seahawks IN CenturyLink Field last december by a score of 34-31. Of course, Carson Palmer was the starting quarterback.

In fact, under Bruce Arians, the Cardinals are 3-1 against the Seahawks in Seattle but are 0-3-1 against them at home.

Arizona beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-10 last Sunday and Seattle lost to the Redskins 17-14.

Seattle is looking to bounce back after last week’s loss where kicker Blair Walsh missed 3 field goals in the first half. They were flagged for a season high 16 times last week and Seattle currently leads the league in accepted penalties and penalty yards.

Adrian Peterson has rejuvenated his career in Arizona, rushing for 159 yards on 37 carries last week. That is a lot of carries for a 32 year old running back. Arizona kinda has no choice to ride AD because they’re definitely not going to rely on Stanton to win games with his arm.

We expect this game to be won by Seattle, but not by much. These teams know each other well and a tight game is to be expected.

Score: Seahawks 24 Cardinals 20
